03.18.06 - Velvetron has obviously been extremely busy. Way too busy to update the news section. Wanna fight about it?

06.12.05 - Yesterday Velvetron released their third album entitled "Things to Don't" at The Ice Factroy in Chicago. The event was wildly successful. The album contains 8 new tracks and you may feel free to listen to samples of the album in the "audio" section of velvetron.net. Velvetron is now preparing for it's 2005 summer tour which begins on Monday June 20th. Check the perfomance schedule for a full Velvetron tour itinerary.

04.02.05 - Velvetron has released the DVD of the performance of their original score to F.W. Murnau's 1926 film "FAUST" The DVD includes the feature with Velvetron's score, band commentary, deleted scenes, and a preview for the Velvetron documentary "Velvetron : Behind the Story" currently in production. The DVD is available for purchase.

03.26.05 - Velvetron is currently recording their third album, which will be released on June 11th 2005 @ the Ice Factory. It will be awesome.

09.23.04 - Velvetron has just published three videos, available for download in the video section of velvetron.net
07.26.04 - Velvetron has finished recording thier summer hit entitled "Snooze Bar". The song is available for download in the audio section of velvetron.net. Copies of the single release are also available for purchase.

06.20.04 - Velvetron is currently composing an original score to accompany the 1926 silent film "FAUST". Velvetron will be screening the film and will perform their original score on TUES. JUNE 29th at The Ice Factory.

05.25.04 - Yesterday Velvetron finished most of the tracking for thier new hit single, which is yet untitled. The mixing should be finished soon, and the song will then be downloadable in the audio section of velvetron.net. Check back!
